Job summary

Chadwick Nott is representing a Top 100 UK law firm with a strong Personal Injury practice in Bath. They seek a Senior Associate to handle high-value and complex PI matters, including fatal RTA claims and vulnerable individuals, reporting to senior lawyers and a Partner.

You will supervise junior colleagues, contribute to business development, and play a key role in the team’s growth and strategic direction in Bath. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 6+ PQE.
• Significant Personal Injury experience, particularly fatal RTAs.
• Demonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Capable of managing complex, high-value cases independently.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Proven interest or track record in business development.
• Supervising or mentoring junior colleagues desirable.

Personal Injury Senior Associate – Bath

Our client is a Top 100 UK law firm, Legal 500 Tier 1 ranked, with a strong national presence and an outstanding reputation in Personal Injury. Their South West team is well established, highly regarded, and continuing to grow.

They are now seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their specialist Personal Injury team in Bath, working on high-value and complex matters.

The Role

You will handle a varied and challenging caseload focused on complex claimant personal injury matters, including:

• Fatal accident claims (with a particular focus on fatal RTAs)
• Claims involving vulnerable individuals
• Cycling and animal-related injury claims
• Multi-track and high-value cases

Working closely with senior lawyers and a recognised Partner, you will manage your own matters while contributing to larger, strategic cases.

This role also offers the opportunity to:

• Play a key role in the growth and direction of the team
• Develop strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Get involved in business development and profile-raising activities
• Supervise and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to wider team strategy and performance

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 6+ PQE
• Have significant experience in Personal Injury, particularly fatal RTA claims
• Demonstrate strong technical ability and commercial awareness
• Be confident managing complex, high-value cases independently
• Have excellent client care and communication skills
• Show a proven interest or track record in business development
• Be capable of supervising or mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
