Job Description:

Our client’s independent, SRA-authorized legal business offers services to insured and non-insured clients across various industries. As a Fortune company with over offices in + countries, they are dedicated to a people-first approach while expanding their business globally. With offices in Manchester, Leeds, London, and Croydon, they employ over specialist solicitors. They seek a civil litigator (6- PQE) to join their Civil Litigation team in Manchester, currently comprising 5 fee earners within a larger Civil Litigation department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide initial prospects opinions on a wide variety of civil disputes.
• Manage a mixed caseload of claimant and defendant work.
• Work on cases funded under legal expenses insurance policies and privately funded matters.
• Deliver clear, accurate, and pragmatic advice.
• Maintain efficient and courteous client service.
• Ensure files are progressed and maintained according to standards.

What You Will Bring:

• Thorough understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
• Experience handling insurance claims is a plus.
• Ability to manage your own caseload under supervision.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
