Job summary

DWF is seeking a Senior Associate for its Major Injury & Casualty team in the UK. The role involves working with Partners on high-value Defendant Personal Injury, EL/PL and Motor files, with caseloads ranging £25k–£250k and up to £10m+.

The team operates from the London office, with two days per week on-site, and a fast-paced, commercial environment. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of litigation experience, supervise junior staff, and support Partners in complex negotiations and

Qualifications

• 5+ PQE in Defendant Personal Injury, EL/PL and Motor.
• Experience handling high value claims up to £250k+.
• Ability to manage own caseload and assist Partners/Directors.
• Familiar with working in a commercial environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of high value Defendant Personal Injury, EL/PL and Motor matters from £25k–£250k+.
• Handle fast-track and multi-track cases, drafting pleadings and attending court hearings.
• Meet court deadlines and ensure compliance with directions and SLAs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; build internal and external networks.
• Provide support to junior team members as the go-to person.
