Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an Associate General Counsel to partner on the global proprietary exchange data business. You will report to the Deputy General Counsel and work within ICE's General Counsel organization.

You will lead licensing, regulatory, and emerging tech matters, engaging with C-suite executives and cross-functional teams to shape strategy and governance for data products and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal qualification and bar admission (New York, England & Wales, or other)
• Expertise in commercial licensing, financial products, or capital markets
• Experience advising senior executives in fast-paced environments
• Working knowledge of derivative exchange markets and regulatory regimes (CFTC, FCA, ESMA, SEC)
• Experience drafting complex license agreements (data, product, software)

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial licensing matters across ICE's exchange data business
• Provide regulatory and compliance counsel across jurisdictions
• Advise on AI governance, data rights, and digital asset considerations
• Engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders; manage outside counsel and budgets
