Job summary

Intropic seeks a commercially minded Legal Counsel to support negotiations and contracting across customers and data suppliers. A modern, AI‑augmented contracting operation handles most agreements, while the team tackles edge cases with the General Counsel.

You will start with the customer side, learning the playbooks, then move toward complex negotiations and bespoke deals. Flat structure, founders directly involved.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Law
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaboration and team communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving ability
• A strong work ethic and the drive to move quickly and efficiently through a high volume of commercial work
• An English law degree and/or qualification as a lawyer

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft commercial agreements across the full range: order forms, master/framework agreements, data licensing agreements, and NDAs
• Apply and develop negotiation techniques and economic principles to construct mutually beneficial deals
• Build and refine contracting playbooks and template agreements using the latest AI tooling and platforms
• Enable commercial and sales teams to self‑serve on standard agreements by making the playbooks simple and robust
• Represent Intropic externally — on calls, in writing, and face to face
