Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Inc. (ICE) in London is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Content Strategy & Acquisition for Exchange data. This role focuses on licensing, distribution, and rights management across global markets.

You will negotiate with global stock and derivatives exchanges, oversee contracts, and manage relationships with content providers while coordinating with Finance on budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of market data and financial markets.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements and contracts.
• Experience with a market data vendor or market data department in a financial institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional relationship management and stakeholder liaison abilities.
• Understanding of entitlement and billing systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to change.
• Experience liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in high volume and high activity situations.
• Familiarity with real-time and end-of-day data use cases.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders on exchange content requirements and strategy.
• Lead contractual negotiations with exchanges, securing group rights for data distribution and internal usage rights.
• Review, analyze and negotiate exchange agreements and policies.
• Establish and maintain strong commercial relationships with exchange content providers.
• Negotiate and manage changes in exchange policies and fees and communicate updates to internal business lines.
• Manage exchange content rights and obligations, and advise on risks and actions.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert on exchange data used across the business.
• Understand regulatory changes and their impact on licenses and commercials.
• Coordinate with Finance on content acquisition, fee changes and budgets.
• Support third-party content data audits and manage exchange content projects.
• Participate in industry conferences and workshops.
