Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Limited is seeking an Associate Director – Overhead Lines to shape and lead our OHL portfolio. Your leadership will drive strategy, technical governance and profitable delivery across bids and projects, aligned with safety and standards.

You will act as the recognised authority for PLS-CADD, oversee complex portfolios from 33kV to 400kV, and develop senior client relationships while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Hybrid working with travel three days per week.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural engineering with CEng status.
• Senior leadership experience in overhead line and transmission engineering.
• Proven portfolio delivery from 33kV to 400kV and FEED to detailed design.
• Strong knowledge of UK power sector standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Set OHL strategy and govern portfolio delivery and investments.
• Lead bids, client relationships and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Ensure technical integrity, safety, quality and sustainability.
• Promote best practice, training and capability development.
