Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a (Senior) Associate for Digital and Technology Services in London to deliver IT due diligence, data and AI consulting, and digitally enabled transformation for private equity and corporate clients.

You will lead workstreams, build analytical models in Excel, and craft client-ready materials in PowerPoint and Word, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive measurable improvements in technology and IT across engagements.

Qualifications

Strong consulting toolkit: framing issues, building hypotheses, data-driven conclusions.
Experience developing Excel-based models; skilled in structuring and delivering PowerPoint and Word presentations.
Exposure to Target Operating Model design, IT/Digital transformation, Enterprise Architecture, and strategic cost reduction.
Fluent business English; additional European languages (French, Spanish, German, or Italian) are desirable for working in international teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as a core member of engagement teams, structuring problem statements and testing hypotheses with data.
Lead discrete workstreams, perform robust analysis and translate findings into actionable insights.
Develop financial/operational models in Excel; create client-ready materials in PowerPoint and Word.
Support delivery of change across Target Operating Model design, IT/Digital transformation, and cost-reduction programs.
Contribute to IT due diligence, integration planning, and value-creation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage day-to-day client interactions.
