CapeClarke Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Defendant Casualty team. You will manage a caseload of high‑complexity EL/PL and Multi‑Track litigation, including high value injuries and construction-related claims, with insurer clients and claims handlers.

The role includes supervising junior lawyers, delivering training, and attending client claims review meetings, with a focus on independent management and high quality advocacy in Birmingham city centre.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in Employers' Liability and Public Liability (EL/PL).
• Experience with multi-track litigation and complex liability issues.
• Ability to manage high-value claims and supervise junior lawyers.

Responsabilités

• Manage own caseload of complex defendant casualty matters from instruction to closure.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers; deliver training.
• Attend client reviews and work closely with insurer clients and claims handlers.
