Job summary

Agnew O'Brien in Jersey seeks a Senior Associate to handle banking, finance and corporate transactions with a focus on cross-border matters. You will lead transactions, supervise junior lawyers, and coordinate with onshore counsel on complex mandates.

The role targets candidates with strong PQE in banking or corporate finance and who are comfortable operating within Jersey's institutional market. Relocation support is offered for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' post-qualification experience in banking, finance or corporate transactions.
• Qualification in Jersey, England and Wales, or another common law jurisdiction.
• Experience taking or granting security in a cross-border context.
• Ability to run a transaction and supervise junior lawyers.
• Offshore experience welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Senior Associates take carriage of transactions, supervise junior lawyers and manage the relationship with onshore counsel directly.
