Job description

Our client, a leading multi-Jurisdictional offshore law firm, is seeking an Associate to work in their highly respected, award winning team. This role would suit an ambitious, determined lawyer with 3-5 years PQE. The successful candidate will work on a range of interesting work for a diverse range of clients across a range of areas of expertise including corporate, banking and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will have a UK, Jersey or Commonwealth legal qualification, have excellent drafting, research and interpersonal skills with strong technical ability. You will be comfortable with undertaking business development across all jurisdictions represented as well as having a good working knowledge of banking, corporate and commercial law in a regulatory work and compliance regime. Knowledge of or a desire to learn about Jersey offshore law.

It is desirable that you would have the ability to communicate effectively with peers, staff and clients, be self-motivated and have lots of drive, a solution driven attitude to problems, have a positive attitude and be an effective team player.
