Job summary

HVLR LTD in Leeds is seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join our Insurance and Complex Claims team. You will handle a varied caseload of complex Defendant Insurance claims, primarily Employers' Liability and Public Liability arising from serious injuries.

You will manage your own caseload, advise insurers and commercial clients on liability and indemnity, develop case strategy, negotiate and litigate, conduct advocacy, and supervise junior solicitors and support staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' PQE in Defendant Insurance, EL and PL claims.
• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent.
• Strong CPR and Insurance litigation knowledge.
• Experience advising insurers and commercial clients.
• Supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex EL and PL claims
• Advise insurers and commercial organisations on liability, indemnity and contractual issues
• Develop case strategy and provide clear legal advice
• Negotiate, mediate and litigate claims
• Conduct advocacy and attend court
• Supervise junior solicitors and support staff
