Job summary

LHH in Manchester/Preston is seeking an experienced Complex Claims Solicitor to join its Insurance team. You will handle defendant EL/PL matters and provide strategic guidance to insurer clients while supporting partners on complex loss, maintaining a healthy work-life balance within a regionally rooted practice.

The role requires 3–5 years PQE, CPR knowledge, and case management experience; you should run your own caseload, develop client relationships, and contribute to insurer engagements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent, 3–5 years PQE.
• Solid working knowledge of CPR and insurance litigation process.
• Experience with case management systems (e.g. PfW).
• Track record of running own caseload and meeting fee targets.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Experience in sports or construction sector claims is a plus.
• High-value/catastrophic loss exposure expected.
