The Associate / Senior Associate Building Surveyor Role
You'll play a key role in the delivery of professional Building Surveying services to a well-established client base, spanning sectors such as industrial, commercial offices, retail, and mixed-use. Depending on your level, you will also be expected to contribute to the mentoring of junior surveyors and the wider growth of the business.Key Responsibilities:Lead on a range of professional instructions including dilapidations, landlord and tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessments, technical due diligence, and contract administrationManage all phases of the dilapidations process - from survey to negotiationMaintain and grow relationships with an existing, lucrative client baseSupport and develop junior surveyors, graduates and apprentices through structured mentoring and APC guidanceContribute to service delivery improvements and support senior leadership on business development initiativesWork collaboratively with other business areas to deliver a seamless service to clients
The Successful Candidate Will Have
Qualifications:MRICS Chartered Building SurveyorExperience & Attributes:Strong experience delivering core professional surveying services, particularly dilapidationsConfident in client-facing settings with experience managing key stakeholdersAble to manage projects from inception to completion or eager to step into a more autonomous roleExcellent report writing and communication skillsCommercially aware, with experience in office, industrial, retail, or mixed-use sectorsA proactive and personable approach, with a passion for continuous improvement
