We’re recruiting on behalf of a progressive and highly respected firm seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join their London-based Technical Due Diligence (TDD) team. After another strong year of growth across key sectors, the team is looking to bolster their offering in the London and South East region with someone who can hit the ground running and contribute both technically and strategically.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled surveyor ready to specialise in TDD while maintaining the flexibility to work across a broad range of instructions. Whether you’re an experienced Senior Surveyor seeking a step up or an established Associate looking for a new challenge, this role offers real progression potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical due diligence instructions across sectors including office, industrial, retail, leisure, and residential
• Act as Project Lead and manage instructions from inception to completion
• Build strong client relationships and maintain high standards of service
• Support and mentor junior team members, with the opportunity to line manage graduates
• Contribute to business development efforts and grow the service line in the London region
• Work flexibly on additional services (e.g., dilapidations, contract administration, defect diagnosis, party wall, refurbishments) as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• MRICS qualified Building Surveyor
• Strong technical background and commercial awareness
• Experience delivering instructions in both commercial and residential sectors
• A keen interest in technical due diligence and a drive to specialise in this area
• Excellent report writing, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills
• Confident communicator and team player, capable of leading projects and mentoring colleagues
• Full flexibility to travel for site inspections within the London region
