Addington Ball in Bromsgrove is seeking a Senior Associate Accountant to join a supportive practice with a varied client portfolio. You will prepare Ltd accounts and manage consolidation, while liaising with clients and providing commentary.

A part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified ACA/ACCA with year-end accounts preparation experience from within practice is ideal. The firm offers ACA/ACCA study support, ongoing technical training, flexible hybrid working, enhanced pension and healthcare,

Qualifications

• A part qualified, finalist or newly qualified ACA or ACCA with Y/E accounts preparation from within practice.
• Competent IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS etc)
• Ability to prioritise tasks, working to deadlines with accuracy and communicate to different stakeholders
• A proactive approach and genuine desire to continue developing your career

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation for Ltd companies and consolidation of group accounts
• Preparation of management figures, liaising with clients and providing commentary
• Corporate tax compliance, VAT returns bookkeeping and management reporting
• Offering advice and guidance to clients on processes, legislation and systems
• Assistance with ad hoc projects including due diligence, forensic and valuations
