Job summary

Addington Ball in Coventry-based offices is seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant to take ownership of a varied client portfolio, including owner-managed businesses, charities and SMEs. You’ll shape the balance of accounts, tax and audit work around your strengths while enjoying a supportive, collaborative culture and strong progression opportunities.

You'll review statutory accounts, oversee corporation and personal tax returns, and mentor junior team members within a flexible hybrid setup,

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with portfolio management experience in practice.
• Strong knowledge of accounts prep and auditing processes.
• Ability to build long-term client relationships and provide proactive advice.

Role Overview

• Manage a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, charities and SME clients.

The Ideal Candidate

• ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and planning & reviewing audits
• Comfortable building long-term client relationships and offering proactive advice
• Previous experience supervising or mentoring colleagues would be beneficial
