Senior Associate-Account Management (Level 3)

Job Summary
Amazon is seeking to hire a Strategic Account Manager in our team to help build our key categories by managing our top and most strategic Selling Partner Accounts. You will join a high performing, learning-oriented, analytical team, who are motivated to work hard, have fun, and make history.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be owning relationships with our most strategic partners and driving them to improve their customer experience and Amazon strategy. Responsibilities include expanding our product selection, improving product availability, building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners (both internally and externally), category analytics, and driving overall improvements to the Amazon store.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing the seller relationship by championing the seller’s needs at Amazon. Build strong communication channels at all levels of the seller’s organization, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan.
  2. Work closely with Leadership on planning and business strategy for Consumables, completing in-depth analysis into customer trends.
  3. Analyze industry and Amazon internal data to understand competitive landscape across multiple categories and identify customer trends.
  4. Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  5. Managing and driving the growth of the seller’s business: Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities for the seller and Amazon.
  6. Managing key improvement initiatives and projects: Drive new product launches and relationship extensions by partnering with the business development and onboarding teams.
  7. Work with sellers to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience.
  8. Analyzing the business: Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive-level reporting on the seller’s current business and future opportunities. Publish recommendations and action plans based on data.
  9. Providing thought leadership around planning, roadmaps, and execution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA degree
  • E-commerce experience
  • Experience meeting revenue targets and quotas
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization
