This multi-disciplinary consultancy, with approximately 120 employees, provides a wide range of Asset Management, Engineering, Commercial, Customer Programmes, and Strategic Advisory services to clients across the water, energy, and environment sectors in the UK.

The Position
As a Lead Consultant, you will play a key role in developing the asset management capability, helping clients maximize the value of their assets and adapt to long-term challenges. Asset Management Consultants provide advisory services to infrastructure clients in the UK and beyond.
You will focus on areas such as (regulatory) business planning, asset strategy, service delivery, risk management, and asset management maturity (ISO55001). Additionally, you will support the wider business in asset management best practices. Reporting to the Associate Director of Asset Management, you will be part of a growing team with opportunities for development and progression.
This role involves working on various projects, adapting to client needs and sectors. Clients are central to your work, and you will be expected to challenge norms constructively and seek continuous improvement.
The business operates a hybrid working model, with the role based at any UK office, combined with work at client locations and from home. Travel to client offices is expected twice a week.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in infrastructure asset management within water, gas, electricity, or related industries, including team management experience. You should have expertise in asset strategy, regulatory business planning, and asset planning, with a solid understanding of the UK regulated utilities industry and its challenges.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with the Institute of Asset Management Diploma or Certificate, is highly desirable. Chartered status or working towards chartership in a relevant institution is preferred.
