Job summary

Polar Data Centers is seeking a Senior Manager - Technical Asset Management to own Asset Management andMaintenance Management across the group's sites, ensuring we know what assets we own, where they are, their condition, and what maintenance they require. You will set standards, audit contractor work, and act as the single point of authority on maintenance.

The role defines group maintenance strategy and life-cycle planning, including spares and criticality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in asset or maintenance management engineering in data centre or critical environments.
• Experience in defining maintenance strategies and PPM regimes for critical M&E assets.
• Experience building and maintaining an asset register across multiple sites.
• Ability to define asset criticality frameworks linked to maintenance regimes and lifecycle planning.
• Experience managing outsourced FM contractors and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own Asset Management across all sites, including policy, registration standards, data quality, and ServiceNow configuration.
• Define asset criticality framework and data standards (manufacturer, model, serial, location, warranty, and lifecycle).
• Own asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal; monitor condition data and capital replacement planning.
• Own maintenance strategy, tasks, acceptance criteria, and pass/fail thresholds for all assets.
• Define and report maintenance KPIs; ensure PPM programmes are live in ServiceNow for new sites.
• Set group standards for FM contractors; monitor PPM completion, data quality, and contractor competence.
• Report asset status and maintenance performance to VP Operations; lead or grow the team as Polar expands.
