Job summary

Princes Group in Liverpool is seeking a Group Asset Care Engineering Manager to lead asset reliability, maintenance strategy and governance across multiple manufacturing sites. This senior role reports to the Head of Engineering and drives safety, efficiency and sustainability.

You will shape maintenance practices, deploy predictive analytics and digital tools, build engineering capability, and partner with site teams to optimise lifecycle value while reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering knowledge with practical asset management experience.
• Experience leading reliability or maintenance across multi-site industrial environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance and digital tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, govern and standardise group-wide asset-care standards, processes and KPIs.
• Lead unified engineering governance across sites to ensure consistency.
• Transition from reactive to proactive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Implement reliability engineering programs including condition monitoring and failure prevention.
• Analyse asset performance data to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and environmental requirements.
