Job summary

Stealth Startup - Deep Tech is seeking a senior specialist to collaborate on the manufacturing, design and implementation of a photonics chip architecture. You will shape all components of the chip, contributing to laser cavities, epitaxy layers and cross‑domain optimisation across electronics I/O and thermal management.

Within this role you will perform wafer analysis and reliability work, leveraging deep expertise in III-V/II-V materials, MBE/MOCVD processes, and high-density yield

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor lasers, material science and applied physics.
• Deep understanding of III‑V & II‑V material systems, ranging from InP/AlGaAS/GaAs/GaN/AlN.
• Understanding of MBE, and MOCVD.
• Experience with SPC, high density yield optimisation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
