Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Training Lead for Aseptic Services to deliver competency-based training to staff and ensure GMP compliance. The role involves maintaining up-to-date training records and coordinating with the Principal Pharmacy Technicians to support daily operations.

You will be responsible for upholding professional standards, adhering to Health and Safety regulations, and contributing to safe, timely production of sterile medicines for patients.

Qualifications

• Deliver competency-based training to staff in Aseptic Services.
• Maintain up-to-date training packages and records.
• Support day-to-day coordination with Principal Pharmacy Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical competency-based training to all staff allocated to the department to ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance is always adhered to.
• Maintain high professional standards and ensure that statutory regulations concerning Aseptic Services and Health and Safety at Work Act are complied with.
• Assist with the day-to-day co-ordination when necessary.
