Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief Technician for Aseptic Services, Education and Training. The role leads CIVAS and PN service operations, develops technical staff and apprentices, and ensures GMP-compliant aseptic manufacturing across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading aseptic services and education programmes.
• Strong GMP/QA knowledge and commitment to safety.
• Ability to develop technical staff, apprentices and trainees.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams within pharma.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead aseptic production services across PN/CIVAS, Cytos and ATMPS.
• Develop and deliver education and training programmes for staff.
• Deputise for the Operational Manager Aseptic Services when needed.
• Ensure manufacturing methods meet GMP standards and QA requirements.
• Support staff development and contribute to the Pharmaceutical Quality System.
