Job summary

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Aseptic Services Pharmacy Department at Tunbridge Wells Hospital as a Band 2/3 Aseptic Services Pharmacy Assistant within the Oncology Pharmacy Team. The role involves delivery management, aseptic unit maintenance, and stock control within a contained, GMP-compliant environment with no patient contact.

Training is provided, and progression toward the Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services

Qualifications

• No prior experience is necessary as specialist training of 6-12 months is provided.
• Work towards approved qualification relevant to the job role, e.g. Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services Skills.
• Hold the qualifications and grades in Maths and English as specified in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: Assist in managing the delivery of products across trust sites.
• Aseptic Unit Maintenance: Perform cleaning of the aseptic unit to GMP standards.
• Stock Control: Manage stock control of consumables and drugs used for the aseptic process.
