Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 2/3 Aseptic Services Pharmacy Assistant to join the Oncology Pharmacy Team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. The role involves aseptic unit cleaning, stock control, and supporting the preparation and delivery of SACTs in a GMP environment.
No prior experience is required as specialist training of 6-12 months is provided, with study toward Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services Skills.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required as specialist training is provided.
- Level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Services Skills is desirable.
- Maths and English grades as specified in the job description.
Responsabilités
- Assist in managing the delivery of products across trust sites and ensure correct storage conditions.
- Perform cleaning of the aseptic unit to GMP standards.
- Stock control of consumables and drugs used in the aseptic process.
- Assist in receipt and correct storage for dose banded products and outsourced SACTs.
- Assist with the dispensing of dose banded products and preparation of aseptically prepared medication.
- Support daily stock level checks using the JAC pharmacy system and replenish stock as required.
- Support the delivery of SACTs to clinics/wards with proper paperwork and tracking.
