Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join the Oncology Pharmacy team. The role supports coordination and delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) services across the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites.

Based at both hospital sites, you will coordinate, schedule, and ensure safe and timely preparation and delivery of cancer treatments, working with pharmacy, nursing and medical staff. Flexible working may apply.

Qualifikationen

• BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science and/or NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• Accredited technician checker (ACT) or working towards
• Post-qualification hospital pharmacy experience
• Understanding of Oncology pharmacy and practices

Aufgaben

• Coordinate SACT treatments across sites, manage workflows and liaise with schedulers to meet pre-treatment requirements
• Liaise with Cancer Scheduling teams, pharmacy staff, aseptic unit and clinical teams to manage treatment bookings and changes
• Support medicines reconciliation and discharge planning with pharmacists on clinical wards
• Assist with expanding Oral SACT capacity and service development to reduce delays and improve patient experience
