Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Aseptic Operational Technician to join the Aseptic Team. You will dispense stock products using the CMM system, organise workloads on the PTL and supervise assistants preparing medicines.

You will participate in training, monitor isolators and cleanrooms, and support quality development and service improvement while managing workload according to patient priority across three hospital sites and the mobile unit.

Qualifications

• Experience with aseptic techniques and GMP standards.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and co-ordinate workload.
• Familiarity with hospital dispensing processes and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Dispense stock products using the CMM system.
• Organise workloads on the Patient Tracker List and liaise with pharmacists.
• Assemble and prepare aseptic products under supervision of technical staff.
• Supervise Assistant Technical Officers and ensure GMP compliance.
• Participate in training of trainees and Pre-Registration Pharmacists.
