Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Production Technician to lead the aseptic production team within our hospital pharmacy units. The role requires post-qualification aseptic manufacturing experience and an ability to mentor technicians and assistants.

You will deputise for senior staff, ensure GMP-compliant operations, and contribute to high‑quality patient care within the Trust’s dedicated units for chemo and PN/CIVAs.

• Experience in aseptic manufacture in hospital pharmacy.
• Ability to lead and develop a small production team.
• Commitment to GMP standards and high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team across chemo and PN/CIVAs units.
• Train and assess technicians and assistants in aseptic procedures.
• Act as guardian of GMP and maintain safe, compliant production processes.
• Assist and deputise for Senior Production Technicians in day‑to‑day delivery.
