Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Band 7 Art Therapist to lead a specialist arts therapies service within the Adult Arts Therapies Team. The role covers North West Surrey and North East Hampshire, with days to be agreed at interview.

Applicants should have HCPC registration in art therapy, a relevant Art Therapy qualification, and experience with adults with complex mental health needs.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered arts therapist (art) is required.
• Art therapy qualification is essential.
• Additional academic clinical qualification relevant to the area of work is desirable.
• Leadership/management study or qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership and clinical oversight for a specialist arts therapies service, ensuring high standards of care and governance.
• Deliver highly specialised arts therapy, music therapy or dramatherapy assessments and interventions for people with complex mental health conditions, in collaboration with families and MDTs.
