Job summary

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a part-time, Band 7 Art(s) Therapist to join our Adult Arts Therapies Team. Work days can be agreed at the interview.

Based at Unither House, this role covers the North West Surrey and North East Hampshire localities. The successful candidate will receive referrals from the Neighbourhood Mental Health Services and will be expected to work flexibly across the Trust in response to service needs.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Arts therapist with current UK registration.
• Art Therapy qualification required.
• Experience leading clinical practice and service development.
• Experience supervising staff and working in mental health settings.
• Driving licence and vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert leadership and clinical oversight for a specialist art therapy service.
• Deliver highly specialised art therapy assessment and interventions for people with learning disabilities.
• Support quality improvement, staff supervision, training, research, and safeguarding.
