We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Senior Area Manager to join our team and play a key role in the operational and financial delivery of our Food Service business across the London & South Region. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, this field-based role is pivotal in supporting business growth, retention, and service excellence.

You’ll be hands-on in bridging management and culinary resourcing gaps, assisting with new business mobilisations, supporting retention strategies, and contributing to sales efforts. A strong background in food service is essential, along with a passion for delivering our Workplace vision across diverse client sites.

Key responsibilities:

• To support accounts/contracts in their operational and financial delivery.
• Provide coaching for front line teams, to support service delivery through strong implementation of company initiatives, food concepts and retail and marketing standards.
• To lead by example, promoting company ethos and values within the organization.
• To promote a high standard of food, service and hygiene in line with company standards and client objectives.
• To ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
• To ensure that all administrative systems, policies and procedures are operated in full.
• Plan high impact visits, leaving a positive impact on both client and colleagues.
• Plan coverage of location and support for Unit Managers, driving a self-sufficiency culture.
• To attend progress meetings with the Regional Operations Director and other meetings where required.
• Completion of company audits in line with internal processes.
• Quick and responsive action where required in all operational aspects.
• Ensure compliance with client and organisational policies and procedures for ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of all persons connected with the units.

Key requirements:

• Ability to manage in a result driven environment with proven commercial experience.
• Organisational and strong time management skills.
• Commitment to execute operations through process orientation, standard operational procedures, and best practice.
• Self-motivated & driven.
• Can demonstrate good leadership.
• Selects and develops talented teams.
• Effective communication skills; oral, written, presentation, influencing and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Solves problems and actively seeks solid and sustainable solutions.
• Can lead, coach and influence in person and remotely.
