You will be responsible for maintaining and attracting clients, and dealing with public libraries, universities, and schools to ensure sales targets are achieved across your territories. Although the position is home-based, face-to-face meetings are encouraged to foster strong relationships, so travel will be required.
Your role will include forging and maintaining strong, positive, and long-lasting client relationships. You will provide high-level sales support and ongoing account management services to institutional customers throughout the UK. Responsibilities include selling our digital solutions and physical audio content.
You will identify business opportunities, drive new sales, and pursue additional revenue streams.
This includes updating databases, creating information packs and presentations, and providing customer feedback. You should understand your customers’ businesses and how to add value to them.
You should be motivated, positive, and a natural salesperson. Passionate about books, audiobooks, and libraries, you should enjoy multitasking and adapting to market changes. Embracing digital technology and content opportunities is essential. You need to be well-organized, flexible, and proactive in all aspects of your role.
