Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Area Finance Controller to lead financial reporting and controls in a multinational environment, based in Harlow, Essex. The role requires managing a small finance team and ensuring strong governance across the finance function.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cost-centre reporting, while supporting audits, tax filings and statutory accounts in a fast-paced international setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience at Finance Manager or equivalent level.
• Experience within a multinational organisation.
• Professional accounting qualification required.
• Degree or equivalent finance/accounting background.
• Strong GL accounting knowledge.
• Experience across tax, costing, AP, AR and financial reporting.
• Strong ERP systems experience.
• Advanced Excel capability.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of UK GAAP / FRS 102.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Produce budgets and financial forecasts.
• Prepare cost-centre reporting.
• Manage annual audits.
• Support tax filings and statutory accounts.
• Manage cash and treasury activity.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Maintain accurate financial ledgers.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / FRS 102.
• Maintain effective internal financial controls.
• Support ERP finance systems.
• Lead and develop junior finance colleagues.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
