Job summary

Stockport Nub News is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead technical delivery from planning through to completion in a Revit-led practice in Stockport.

You will coordinate with design teams, consultants and contractors, producing detailed technical information, managing NBS specifications and responding to technical queries on site. A strong background in residential, education or commercial sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a UK architectural practice with strong technical delivery experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Revit and experience producing detailed technical information.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology and technical detailing.
• Proven experience taking responsibility for technical project delivery and/or job running.
• Experience producing and managing NBS specifications is advantageous.
• Confident dealing with technical queries from clients, consultants and contractors.
• Comfortable attending site and resolving technical issues during construction.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to act as a senior technical point of contact.
• Architectural Technologist or Architect background considered with strong technical delivery experience.
• Sector experience across Residential, Education, Commercial, Healthcare or similar sectors welcomed.
• Proactive, well-organised and able to take ownership of projects within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the technical delivery of projects from planning through to completion.
• Produce, coordinate and manage detailed technical information using Revit.
• Prepare detailed technical drawing packages, including General Arrangement drawings and construction details.
• Coordinate technical information between the design team, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Respond to technical queries and resolve issues arising during project delivery and on site.
• Prepare and manage NBS specifications and associated technical documentation.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors.
• Attend and contribute to design team meetings, client meetings and site visits.
• Help ensure projects are technically robust, coordinated and deliverable.
• Support and share technical knowledge with other members of the team where required.
