Job summary

Vital Energi in Blackburn is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead the technical design of energy centres and renewable schemes from concept to completion.

The successful candidate will hold a degree-level qualification with circa 5–7 years in design/build environments, be a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) and demonstrate strong Building Regulations, local planning knowledge and NES/NBS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification with 5–7 years in a design/build environment.
• Chartered Architectural Technologist status (MCIAT) and knowledge of Building Regulations.
• Experience with local planning policies and NES/NBS familiarity.
• Experience liaising with Local Authorities and other Statutory Bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of energy centres and renewable schemes from concept to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with civil and structural teams.
• Mentor and manage Graduate ATs/Technicians and oversee project timelines.
