Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to lead technical delivery on a range of projects across Commercial, Aviation, Rail, Industrial, Education and Residential sectors.

You will work closely with architects and project leads from concept through to construction, bringing strong technical knowledge, rigour and the ability to mentor junior technologists, while coordinating with engineers and consultants.

Qualifications

Qualified Architectural Technologist (MCIAT or working towards chartership) or equivalent significant experience.
Strong technical detailing and specification-writing skills.
Proven experience delivering projects through to construction.
Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with BIM workflows advantageous.
Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction technology.

Responsibilities

Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information.
Leading on technical design development across a range of project types and sectors.
Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards and relevant legislation.
Coordinating with structural engineers, M&E consultants and other members of the design team.
Managing information packages through RIBA Stages 3–6.
Supporting and reviewing the work of junior technologists and technical staff.
Contributing to the development of technical standards and best practice within the practice.
