Job summary

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with one of Birmingham's most prominent Architectural practices, seeking to appoint an Architectural Technologist to their growing team.

With a healthy pipeline predominantly in the Education sector, the practice are well placed to offer an Architectural Technologist a position with an interesting pipeline of work, plenty of progression opportunities, and solid job security.

Qualifications

• UK recognised qualifications in Architectural Technology (e.g. BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience.
• CIAT membership (or working towards chartership) would be advantageous
• Approximately 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Strong technical detailing knowledge and understanding of building regulations
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit would be ideal
• Background of working in the Education sector would be preferred but not necessarily essential

Responsibilities

• Support project teams through the technical design and delivery stages, producing detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Help ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and coordinated.
• Work closely with Architects and wider project teams from technical design through to construction.
• Develop knowledge of building regulations, construction detailing, and specification writing as your career progresses.
