Job summary

EA Associates in Oxford is recruiting an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join our established multidisciplinary practice. You will support and lead the technical delivery across design and construction, producing and coordinating detailed design information, BIM Level 2 standards, Revit and CAD environments, and ensuring high-quality coordination with architects and engineers.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Oxford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically focused professional to join a collaborative team, working across a range of architectural and construction projects and playing a key role in the technical delivery of projects.

The Role

As Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical delivery of projects, working closely with architects, consultants and wider multidisciplinary teams.

You will be involved in:

• Developing and coordinating detailed design and production information
• Producing and managing technical drawings and project information
• Working collaboratively with architects and other technical disciplines
• Supporting the delivery of projects from design through to construction
• Coordinating project information and ensuring technical standards are maintained
• Providing technical guidance and support to other members of the team
• Assisting with design coordination, quality checks and project delivery
• Supporting the development and implementation of CAD/Revit standards

About You

The following experience is essential:

• Significant experience within the architectural / construction industry
• Strong technical architectural knowledge and experience
• Excellent Revit and CAD experience
• Experience delivering projects to BIM Level 2 or equivalent standards
• Experience producing and coordinating detailed technical information
• Good understanding of construction, materials, detailing and relevant standards
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Suitable technical qualifications, or equivalent experience

Experience with Revit coordination, clash review, Revit standards, families and templates would be highly relevant to the role.

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware and confident taking ownership of technical delivery while working collaboratively with a wider architectural and multidisciplinary team.
