Job summary

RIBA 1834 Ltd. in Manchester is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join the Residential, Commercial and Education teams, driving detailed design and coordinating technical packages from concept through construction.

You will lead design information across disciplines, apply BIM with Revit, and ensure BIM Level 2 compliance while adhering to Building Regulations and current standards to deliver buildable, high-quality details.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience in UK practice.
• CIAT registered.
• Lead detailed design and coordinate information between disciplines.
• Proficient in Revit; BIM Level 2 knowledge is a bonus.
• Knowledge of NBS and current construction standards.
• Understanding Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.

Responsibilities

• Join the Residential, Commercial and Education teams across three sectors.
• Produce and coordinate technical packages from concept to construction.
• Drive the detailed design stage and align information across the project team.
• Turn design ideas into buildable, practical details.
• Handle design changes calmly and keep projects on track.
• Maintain a consistently high standard of delivery.

Senior Architectural Technologist Location: Manchester Salary: £38,000-£42,000 pa (dependant on experience)

• Sound grasp of Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act and related legislation
• A motivated, positive team player who takes ownership and enjoys solving problems
