Job summary

Zesty Work in North Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our award-winning studio. The role is permanent, full-time, based in Harrogate area and offers a competitive £35k–£45k salary DOE.

You will work across commercial, residential and retail schemes, contributing to planning applications, detailing, and building regs guidance. We value collaboration, strong technical knowledge, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning applications, pre-app work and detailing packages.
• Ability to lead a team of technicians.
• Experience across RIBA stages and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist with task assignment of projects to technicians.
• Coordinate timescales and quality control with clients and contractors.
• Provide technical knowledge on building regulations for the team.
• Produce complete planning applications, reports and appeals.
• Lead a team of technicians and coordinate with architects/design managers.

With offices situated across the North East, our client is looking to take on a seasoned Senior Architectural Technologist at their office in North Yorkshire. This role comes with a competitive salary landing between £35k - £45k per annum DOE, furthermore offering great opportunity for growth and a strong future career path. Their work specialises across a lot of commercial projects, however you will have the opportunity to flex your skills across a plethora of different sectors. The company in question expects capable demonstrations of good planning application drawings, pre-app work as well as detailing packages. Although site experience won't be a prerequisite it would certainly help in the application process.
This is position is currently high-priority with a proposedstart date for mid to end of July. With consistent projects being signed for the rest of the year and beyond it's an ideal position for those of you seeking to build on your current work portfolio.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Proficiency in Revit.

Competency using Microsoft Office.

Confident working across all stages of RIBA.

Execute quality assurance and quality control of project documents.

Produce and deliver complete planning applications, reports, and appeals.

• Lead a team of technicians whilst coordinating accordingly with project sharing architects, master planners and design managers.
