Baily Garner LLP is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join our Northern Architectural team, working on a range of projects in a multidisciplinary environment. The role can be based in Newcastle or Manchester, with a competitive starting salary and a strong benefits package.

You will lead design and technical delivery across RIBA stages, coordinate with other disciplines, and manage planning and building control submissions while supporting procurement and site surveys.

Qualifikationen

• CIAT accredited course or equivalent (HND/City & Guilds CAD)
• Chartered Architectural Technician status (advantage)
• Experience delivering projects through RIBA stages
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning policies

Aufgaben

• Support studio development through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Lead design team meetings and communicate with clients and consultants.
• Define briefs, sustainability, quality, cost and programme targets; advise on consultant appointments.
• Undertake site visits and surveys as required.
• Develop 2D and 3D concept designs, specifications, stage reports and presentations.
• Coordinate architectural designs with other disciplines.
• Manage planning applications and listed building consent where required.
• Lead building regulations submissions and liaise with building control.
• Support procurement and tendering, including reviewing contractor proposals.
• Produce co-ordinated 2D/3D tender and construction drawings, schedules and specs.
• Manage planning condition discharge and building control requirements with consultant input.
• Inspect works and identify defects/non-compliance with the contract.
• Prepare as-built information and handover documentation.
