Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician for a studio near Reading to deliver residential projects from concept through to completion. You will produce building regulations packages, coordinate planning submissions and perform site surveys to ensure technical compliance.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Architectural Technology, extensive UK practice experience, and strong detailing as well as communication skills, with a proven ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• A degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Substantial post-qualification experience as an Architectural Technician in a UK practice.
• Strong working knowledge of Vectorworks or AutoCAD (essential).
• A track record of managing residential projects.
• Sound understanding of UK building regulations.
• Previous experience of conducting site visits.
• Excellent technical detailing and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
