Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35-40,000

A leading architectural studio is seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join its RIBA-chartered team in Cambridge. Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architectural Technician:

• Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawings and specifications across all RIBA stages, particularly RIBA 4-6
• Work closely with architects and project leads to ensure design intent is delivered accurately and efficiently
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve technical issues and support project delivery
• Assist in project and team coordination, including overseeing junior technicians and support staff
• Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is highly beneficial

Experience Required:

• HNC/HND or a degree in Architectural Technology
• Significant UK-based experience in an architectural technician role
• Strong technical knowledge, with a proven ability to deliver complex projects
• Experience working across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• CIAT membership or working towards it is advantageous
