Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a Principal Engineer to shape the architecture, standards and technical direction for our products. This senior, hands-on role leads from the front, delivering features, integrations and platform enhancements while addressing technical debt.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps and Support teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. You’ll mentor engineers and promote modern software development practices to help teams build

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience with leadership of complex initiatives and distributed teams.
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem (C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure).
• Experience delivering scalable, cloud-native services and applications.
• Deep understanding of microservices and modern architecture principles.
• Ability to guide development of high-quality, production-grade code.
• Experience across multiple languages and tech stacks, with broad technical perspective.
• Solid knowledge of agile delivery, DevOps, testing, and observability.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management.
