Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Architect for a full-time, permanent role to lead residential projects from early design through to completion. The portfolio includes build-to-rent, affordable housing, mixed-use schemes, and regeneration, emphasising technical delivery and coordination with clients and consultants.

The successful candidate will use Revit, manage programmes, ensure Building Regulations compliance, and mentor junior staff in a collaborative, hybrid working

Qualifications

• ARB registered Architect with approximately 5–10 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong residential architecture background with experience delivering medium to large-scale developments.
• Excellent technical knowledge across all RIBA stages.
• Proficient in Revit and coordinating detailed technical packages.
• Good understanding of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act; experience with Higher-Risk Buildings beneficial.
• Confident in managing projects, coordinating consultants and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential projects across all RIBA stages from concept to completion.
• Produce and oversee detailed technical information using Revit.
• Manage project programmes and coordinate consultants.
• Oversee residential developments, refurbishments and regeneration schemes.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
• Support projects involving Higher-Risk Buildings and Gateway submissions.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with contractors and external consultants.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
