Job summary

AECOM is expanding in the UK and seeks an experienced Architect to lead multi-disciplinary design teams. You will manage design, coordination, and client engagement across infrastructure projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The role requires ARB registration, strong CAD/BIM skills (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation), and experience across infrastructure sectors. Hybrid work options and a structured development culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ARB Registered Architect with proven experience on large multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Degree qualification (Diploma or Masters) in architecture preferred.
• Willingness to work across infrastructure design areas such as Surface Transport, Rail, Aviation, Education, Health Care, Science and Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design from inception with focus on innovative, client-aligned solutions and design excellence.
• Direct and coordinate material and building system design; prepare project specifications.
• Ensure CDM Safety in Design principles across all design stages.
• Organise teams to meet deadlines and project requirements; ensure high-quality design documentation.
