9B Careers is seeking a senior architect with ambition, energy, and a strong background in conservation and heritage to lead the practice locally and nationally. The role offers a succession pathway, with the potential to buy into the business and shape its future leadership.

You will oversee high-profile conservation projects, mentor teams, and collaborate with directors to grow the studio's influence in historic environments.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years post-Part 3 experience in conservation and heritage.
• Experience in surveys, statements of significance, and heritage impact assessments.
• Able to design sensitively for historic environments.
• Ambitious, enthusiastic, and ready to take a leadership role.
• Ideally have membership of AABC (Register of Architects Accredited in Building Conservation) and SPAB (The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings)
