Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Architect to join its Oxford studio on a range of conservation and heritage projects, from concept through to delivery.

The ideal candidate will be ARB registered, with several years of UK experience and strong ArchiCAD skills, a solid grasp of UK planning and building regulations, and a meticulous approach to technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Qualified, ARB registered Architect with several years of UK experience.
• Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential.
• Proven experience working on conservation, heritage or listed building projects.
• Good knowledge of UK planning and building regulations.
• Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
• Confident producing detailed drawing packages and technical information.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £35-40,000

An established architectural practice is looking for an experienced Architect to join its team, working across a varied portfolio of high-quality projects with a particular focus on conservation and sensitive existing buildings. The successful candidate will have strong experience working in ArchiCAD, alongside a solid understanding of conservation principles and the challenges involved in working with historic and listed buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect who enjoys working across projects from concept through to delivery and is looking to join a collaborative, design-focused practice.
