Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Architect in Oxfordshire with a passion for building conservation to join a friendly, RIBA-chartered practice. You will lead projects from concept through to completion, focusing on sustainability and historic buildings.

Ideal candidates will be ARB registered with UK post-Part 3 experience, live in Oxfordshire, manage a small team, handle budgets, and produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings while respecting historic fabric.

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary: £35-42,000

We are seeking an experienced and creative Architect with a passion for building conservation to join a friendly, RIBA-chartered practice based in Oxfordshire. The practice has a strong focus on sustainability and historic buildings, taking pride in revitalising existing structures through innovative, thoughtful and sensitive design. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Architect to play a key role in the preservation and enhancement of historic buildings while leading projects from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects through all stages, from concept to completion
• Manage project budgets and programmes
• Assist with contract administration duties
• Work on the conservation, maintenance and repair of historic buildings
• Produce high-quality technical drawings using AutoCAD

The successful Architect will ideally have:
